Welcome to the Frome Food Hub! Formerly known as the Frome Food Assembly as featured on BBC Countryfile and Radio 4’s Farming Today…
We offer local, sustainable produce with all the convenience of online click and collect shopping, combined with the opportunity to meet the producers and shake the hand that feeds you.
Order online through our website Thursday-Monday then come along to pick up your fresh produce at our weekly collection on Wednesdays 5.30-7.30pm at the Steiner School Main Hall in Park Road, Frome. Alternatively, you can choose to have your produce delivered within central Frome.
Interested? Join now (it’s free) to buy online. There is NO commitment to buy, and NO minimum order quantities. If you want to “try before you buy” come along to one of our quarterly tasting events and meet our producers and taste their wares! Sign up to our mailing list to find out more about our weekly collection and our next tasting event.
We have worked very hard to source produce from a huge variety of local farmers and growers. When we say "Yes to local!" we mean it. We have sourced most of our food from no more than 25 miles away (and closer when we can) although we have made the occasional exception for fish and a few, select exotic fruit and veg.
You can buy a HUGE range of local produce; free range, heritage breed meat, seasonal fruit and veg grown free from chemical nasties, freshly baked bread, organic Jersey cows’ milk, butter and cream, Guernsey cows’ milk and goats’ milk yoghurt, as well as home cooked ready meals, wine, beer and juice, as well as locally grown plants and flowers and a few, key household essentials from ethical wholesaler Suma.
To discover the whole range of products, please do just give us a go…
We look forward to meeting you soon!
Pia and Lindsay, the Frome Food Hub team
