We produce grass fed, organic beef from our herd of Red Poll cattle. Our meat is delicious, nutritious and like a fine wine. Once tasted, you know what the "Roast Beef of Olde England" was like!
Calves are born here on the farm, suckling from their mothers for 6 months and fed purely on grass in the summer and hay or haylage in the winter. All their food comes from this farm. The only additional item is a mineral supplement. Steers and sometimes heifers make the one journey to a local abattoir. The meat is hung for 3 to 4 weeks and then butchered to our specification and vacuum packed. We welcome visitors who are interested in how their meat is produced and would like to know the benefits of our organic produce.
