Topside is the classic choice for a traditional Sunday roast. Fine grained and delicately marbled with a layer of fat on the top. This flavourful joint can either be slow-cooked or quickly roasted with a rare centre. This small sized joint weighs between 1kg - 1.4kg.
Tasty nutrient-dense high-welfare beef from our small herd of rare and native breed cattle who are lovingly raised by us on grassy meadows 8 miles away from Frome. Our beef is hung on the bone for a minimum of 21 days and butchered by the award winning Blackmore Vale Butchery. All of our beef comes vac packed and frozen. Either defrost and keep refrigerated to consume within 5 days, or keep in your freezer for up to 6 months.
