September House Smallholding - Toulouse
These are sausages made from our own rare breed pigs on our smallholding on the Longleat Estate. Our favourite breed is the Iron Age Boar / Mangalitsa Cross, often referred to as the "Kobe Beef of Pork". Our pigs are slow reared outside and therefore take longer to mature, which results in an enhanced flavour. The marbling of the meat is most noticeable on the chops and the streaky bacon which we have consistently rave reviews about!
Our sausages are all hand made by Penleigh Farm Traditional Butchers therefore some packs may have 7 sausages in (instead of the standard 6) depending on weight. All sausages are frozen.
