Huazontle is also known as Aztec Broccoli and is widely grown and eaten in Mexico, so it loves our polytunnel where it's regularly 40 degrees C. Traditionally the leaves and buds are stripped from the stem, cooked in water and then wrapped around cheese to make a pattie, but we've also enjoyed eating it stem-and-all, just like tender stem broccoli. Sold by the bunch.
