Okahijiki is also known as Japanese Saltwort and is similar in many ways to Agretti which we also have available. With its delicious salty bite you can eat it raw, add it to salads, or steam or fry gently with seasoning as a side dish, or add to pretty much any meal from pasta to omelette. Why not try Okahijiki and Agretti and see if you notice a difference between one which is native to the salt marshes of Japan and the other which grows in the Mediterranean and is commonly eaten in Italy.
