Wild Thyme - Hemerocallis 'Catherine Woodbury' - Daylily
Gorgeous lavender-pink, sweetly scented blooms with a golden eye are large (4" across) and form on tall, stiff stems in generous clusters.
This variety is earlier flowering than most Daylilies. June-Aug.
Mounds of strappy, bright green foliage is semi-evergreen.
Really easy in any situation in any soil.
Drought and rabbit tolerant.

The flowers are edible and have a lightly peppery taste. Try adding to salads for a glamorous lunch with friends.
As the name suggests, each bloom lasts only for one day but Daylilies are really generous blooming and as each flower dies it is quickly replaced by lots more.
